Description:
Unlike a turntable machine that rotates the pallet, a rotary arm stretch wrapper revolves around a still pallet while the stretch film is being applied. A rotary arm stretch wrap machine allows you to drive up to the machine and lay the pallet on the ground, eliminating the need to load the machine using a pallet jack. Rotary arm stretch wrappers can either be semi-automatic or automatic. Rotary arm stretch wrappers are ideal when you have a lot of open floor space.
Best Application:
Since the load remains stationary, they are ideal for wrapping tall, very heavy, or unstable loads.
Space Required:
(Approx.) Length: 12ft | Width: 9ft | Height: 10ft
Types of Rotary Arm Stretch Wrappers

Automatic
- Requires no operator intervention.
- Automatic rotary arm stretch wrappers have a mechanical film clamp and film wipe.
- Floor loaded machines can wrap up to 40 loads per hour.

Semi-Automatic
- There is no film clamp and film wipe.
- At the end of the wrap cycle, an operator is required to manually cut the film and wipe the film tail against the load.
- Wraps up to 25 loads per hour as it takes a bit more time to load and unload a semi-automatic machine.

Conveyorized
- Used in conjunction with the rest of the packaging line to automatically cycle loads through the line for increased output and efficiency.
- Most if not all conveyorized machines are fully- automatic and can wrap up to 100 loads per hour.
